Join us around the world without needing a plane! Celebrate diversity with the NHE/OV PTA a community of many different cultures and heritages.
We need your help to make this PTA Festival of Cultures a success!
We need students with their parents to pick a country and create a display about that country. It can be a country of your personal heritage, your family’s heritage, a country you have visited or a country that you would like to visit and are interested in. We are looking for colorful and creative displays to represent that country and it’s culture including: country facts and information, food ( a small taste of food or drink would be great), language, and display items such as music, posters, flag, pottery, clothing, artifacts, arts and crafts, and games. If your background is another region of the US, please feel free to represent that too! You can be as creative as you like! You can do the display as an individual, family or group-gather some friends and really have fun with it!!
All participants who exhibit a cultural display will receive a FREE special PTA t-shirt on the day of the event. Let’s make the PTA Festival of Cultures as diverse as our community! Please fill out the form coming home in backpacks and have your child return it to school no later then October 18th. Thank you for your prompt response!
